Kong Lo Cave (Tham Kong Lo - Laos)
Kong Lo Cave
ThamKong Lo is a karst limestone cave in Phu Hin Boun National Park, in Khammouane province, Laos. It is located only 130 kilometers (81 miles) from Thakhek, on Na Hin Boun river, which flow into the cave. the karst formation is formatic and the cave has been sited as "one of Southeast Asia's geographical wonders".
The cave is deep (lasting about 7 kilometers (4miles) and wide and high at 300 feet apart. the locals in recent year has set up vendors at the location to provide to tourites. Inside the cave is a pool whic glows a bight emeral color which the locals hold as sacred, believing its to reflect the skin of the Hindi god Indra.
